CEO

Hello, my name is Kimberly, and I'm very glad to meet you.

I'm from the United States where I taught English for many years. Since coming to Korea, I have taught at various colleges and in government-sponsored teacher training programs for Korean high school and elementary school teachers.

I have taught some of my students at Teletalk for over 15 months and have thoroughly enjoyed hearing them improve their conversational abilities

Director of Education

Hello, my name is Bill Mathers.

I grew up in Iowa and graduated with a Business Administration Degree from Grand View College.
My background is sales and marketing and recently I was in management at an upscale downtown department store in Chicago.

I spent many years working out in the field and training countless new employees. Training new staff has given me invaluable experience in reapplying them to teaching a foreign language.

Educating and teaching is one of my strongest assets - I'm very personable and patient.

Learning a second language can be very difficult at times, but very rewarding in the end. I hope that my teaching methods will help you in your learning of the English Language.

Assistant Manager

Hi, my name's Vicky.

I love teaching in Korea and I have been living here for four years. Let me tell you a little bit about myself: I'm thirty years old, and I was born and raised in London , England . I am a graduate of the presigious London University . Before I moved to Korea , I used to work for a publishing company in England . My first job there was as an editorial assistant, proofreading books, so I know a lot about spelling and grammar! After I had been working for five years, I decided I need a change, and the excitement of working somewhere different. I moved to Korea ! Since I have been here I have gained a great deal of teaching experience. Many of my students are from well known international companies such as Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, General Mills, Motorola, Sun Microsystems, and Citigroup etc. I hope that I can be your teacher too! Best wishes, Vicky

My name is Marie and I have been living in Korea since 1999, in Kwangju, with my husband, Mark, where we have been teaching English. I am a mature, experienced teacher, devoted and dedicated
to my students. I work well with people in a variety of environments. I have a Bachelor's Degree
in Liberal Arts from the State University of New York, and a Master's Degree in Education.
As a result of my education and life experience, I am a versatile, dynamic, resourceful, patient and creative teacher.

Of all the places I have worked and lived, Korea is by far my favorite country. I have developed such a passion for this land, that I consider it my “home country”. I love the culture, the traditions, the people,
the food, and I am learning to appreciate the language. My Korean students have taught me much about Korea.

I truly enjoy teaching here. I have found Korean students of all ages and levels to be diligent and hard-working. Their eagerness to learn English, and their responsiveness is an inspiration.

Thank you for the privilege and the opportunity to be your teacher.

Hello, my name is Ellen Swanson. I am from Minnesota , USA , but I was originally born in Kwangju, Korea . I moved to Minnesota when I was four years old. I went to the University of Minnesota and majored in Therapeutic Recreation through the school of Education and Human Development.

Before coming to Korea I taught ESL to adults in classroom settings and worked with people with disabilities. I have now been in Korea for over three years teaching English to all age groups.

The initial reason why I came to Korea was to learn about my heritage and get more hands on experience teaching. I have gotten more out of this journey than I have ever imagined and I have met some great people along the way and I am looking forward to many more experiences here in Korea .
